Sustainable water extraction on campus

At CUT, all university premises are connected exclusively to the central water distribution system of the city of Limassol. As a result, CUT does not extract water on campus from aquifers, lakes, rivers, or any other natural sources. Water extraction for the supply of CUT is conducted off campus by the national Water Development Department, which employs sustainable water extraction technologies and practices, as documented on the Department’s official webpage.

Since water sourcing is performed solely by the national authority and not by the University, CUT relies entirely on these certified, sustainably managed extraction processes for its campus water supply.
