CUT has a current and comprehensive Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) policy framework in place. This includes two key strategic documents:
- Equality Plan: This Plan outlines CUT’s commitment to promoting equal opportunities for all members of the university community. It sets out actions and measures to ensure a fair, inclusive, and respectful environment for students, academic staff, and administrative personnel, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, or other personal characteristics.
- Equal Accessibility Plan for Persons with Disabilities and Persons with Special Educational Needs: This Plan specifically addresses the university’s commitment to creating an accessible working and learning environment. It ensures that staff and students with disabilities or special educational needs have equal access to facilities, resources, and support services.
These frameworks form part of CUT’s broader strategy to embed inclusivity and equity in all aspects of university life.
