Publication of financial reports

In accordance with Article 35 of the Cyprus University of Technology Law, the University prepares annual financial statements, which are audited by the Auditor General of the Republic of Cyprus. The Auditor General submits the audit report to the University Council and forwards copies to the Council of Ministers and Members of Parliament.

Although the University is not legally obliged to publicly publish its audited financial statements, it is required, under Article 36 of the same Law, to submit an Annual Report to the Council of Ministers. This report outlines the University’s activities during the previous academic year and includes key financial information, such as budgeted and actual income and expenditure.

Furthermore, the University provides annual data to the Ministry of Finance regarding its fiscal exposure, regularly informs the General Accounting Department of the Republic of Cyprus on the implementation of its budget, and submits monthly financial statements reflecting income, expenditure, and any financial obligations. The law concerning the University's annual budget is also published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Cyprus.

The most recent available audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2021 can be accessed here. Audits for the financial years 2022–2024 are pending.
