Healthy and affordable food choices on campus

CUT ensures the provision of healthy and affordable food choices for all members of its campus
community, promoting both nutritional wellbeing and accessibility.

Approximately 30% of students, based on socio-economic criteria, receive a free, healthy daily lunch offered by the Bishopric of Limassol, located near the university. This initiative is coordinated by the University’s Service for Academic Affairs and Student Welfare.

On campus, the Zorpas café-restaurant, situated at the heart of CUT, provides a range of healthy meals and snacks, including salads, yogurt-based dishes, fresh juices, and light meals at reduced prices, offering an affordable alternative to off-campus dining.

In addition, various cafés and restaurants in the Limassol city centre near the university offer special discounts to students, with many including healthy options in their menus.

At the Paphos campus, students of the Academy of Hospitality and Tourism prepare affordable weekly themed lunches as part of their training, which are available to the public and university community, with students enjoying extra discounted rates. Each week features a special menu showcasing different cuisines.
