CUT provides access to physical health-care services through a wide range of sports and wellness programs, as well as information and education services that promote physical and mental well-being.
CUT’s Sports Office offers a dynamic and inclusive program of sports and fitness activities tailored to all levels-from beginners to advanced athletes. Activities include running, sailing, windsurfing, alpine skiing, rock climbing, bowling, golf, and nature exploration, promoting healthy lifestyles and overall well-being. The schedule is updated annually to reflect students’ interests and encourage participation in diverse sports, including less conventional ones.
Sports facilities in both Limassol and Paphos are available free of charge to students, staff, and their immediate family members, while local schools may also access them during non-student hours. The facilities are also accessible to the general public outside university hours for a small fee, ensuring wider community benefit.
In Paphos, a dedicated gym is also used to support the training of high-level athletes, under partnerships with local sports clubs.
Through these facilities and programs, CUT actively promotes physical health, social interaction, and long-term wellness for its university community.
