Sustainability committee

CUT has established a dedicated sustainability committee. The Committee for the UN 17 SDGs was formed in 2021 and includes representatives from the academic, administrative, and student communities. It is coordinated by the Rector’s Academic Advisor on Sustainability and is supported administratively by the Environmental Policy Office (green@cut).

The Committee is dedicated to advancing the 17 SDGs by raising awareness, organizing training
initiatives, and sharing relevant information both within the University and the wider community. It plays a key role in conducting analyses and submitting proposals to the Rectorate to enhance quality of life and embed sustainability across university operations. Additionally, it has developed CUT’s official Policy for the 17 SDGs and supports the implementation of actions that promote well-being, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility throughout all areas of university life.
