Provision of training based on university values

CUT actively supports and facilitates a holistic ethical organisational culture by providing training based on its core ethical values at all levels of the institution.

This commitment is embedded in the University’s Staff Education and Development Policy, which ensures that all training and professional development activities are aligned with CUT’s strategic objectives and guided by its core values, including responsibility, transparency, integrity, meritocracy, respect, and fairness.

Training is delivered through a range of structured and continuous learning activities, including induction programmes for new staff, internal and external seminars, workshops, and professional development initiatives. These activities are designed to reinforce ethical principles in everyday practice, promote responsible decision-making, and ensure that all members of staff understand and apply the University’s ethical standards in their roles.

In addition, ethical values are further reinforced through institutional frameworks such as the Code of Ethics and Deontology, ensuring that training is closely linked to formal standards of conduct and organisational expectations.

Through this integrated approach, CUT promotes a culture of continuous learning, ethical awareness, and accountability, ensuring that ethical values are consistently embedded across academic, administrative, and operational activities.
