Student representation in governing bodies

CUT ensures student representation in its governing bodies, enabling active participation in high-level decision-making processes.

Students are represented through elected members in both the University Senate and the University Council, in accordance with the University’s governance framework and regulations. These representatives are selected through democratic procedures and actively contribute to discussions and decisions related to academic affairs, student welfare, and institutional development.

Student participation extends across different levels of governance, including representation in the University Council (one student member) and the Senate (seven student members, one per faculty), ensuring that student perspectives are incorporated into decision-making processes.

This governance model promotes transparency, accountability, and inclusive and participatory governance, allowing students to play a meaningful role in shaping academic, administrative, and strategic decisions.
