CUT has an officially recognised Student Union (Φ.Ε.ΤΕ.ΠΑ.Κ.), which represents the interests and rights of both undergraduate and postgraduate students at university level.
The Student Union plays an active role in institutional governance, participating in key decision-making bodies of the University and ensuring active student participation in governance, while operating in accordance with its officially approved statute. It ensures that student voices are represented in matters related to academic life, student welfare, and university development.
The Union is democratically governed, with its leadership and representatives elected directly by the student body through regular elections, ensuring transparency, accountability, and inclusive representation.
Furthermore, the CUT Student Union is affiliated with the Pancyprian Federation of Student Unions (POFEN), the national body representing student unions across Cyprus, thereby contributing to student representation at the national level.
