University values

CUT has established a clear set of ethical values, including responsibility, transparency, integrity, meritocracy, respect, and fairness, which guide institutional behaviour and decision-making across all levels of the University.

These values are formally embedded in publicly available strategic and policy documents, ensuring transparency and accessibility. CUT’s Vision, Mission and Values framework outlines the University’s core ethical principles and strategic direction, while its Code of Ethics and Deontology provides a comprehensive framework governing professional conduct, academic integrity, equality, and responsible behaviour across teaching, research, administration, and student life.

The Code explicitly promotes principles such as honesty, respect, fairness, accountability, and non-discrimination, reinforcing a culture of ethical awareness and responsibility throughout the institution.

Through the publication and implementation of these documents, CUT ensures that ethical values are not only clearly defined but also institutionally embedded, publicly accessible, and actively upheld, supporting an inclusive, transparent, and responsible academic environment.
